Randall R. Ozment, M. D.

Dr. Ozment is a native of Atlanta, Georgia, with original family roots from Floyd County and Lumpkin County, Georgia. He graduated from Emory College of Emory University with a BA in Biology in 1979. He received his MD degree from Emory University Medical School in 1983. He served his residency in Ophthalmology from 1984 to 1987 at Emory University. He served as Chief Resident from 1986 to 1987. He then went on to complete 2 years of specialized glaucoma training at Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. In 1989, he began practice in Atlanta and practiced there until 1996 when he and his family relocated to Dublin, Georgia.

Dr. Ozment has published several original articles regarding glaucoma and has written several textbook chapters dealing with various forms of glaucoma. He is married to Laura Panter Ozment and together they have 4 children. He and his family are active members of First United Methodist Church in Dublin.

Dr. Ozment's interests outside medicine include family, forestry, fishing and hunting.
